New York City…

… An epicenter of culture, food, style, fashion, music, and all things cutting edge. The entire world looks to NYC for what’s “next”, but for most people it’s a pretty long haul away. The idea of DIY-NYC is to be a source bringing NYC to you. From the hottest styles, restaurants, clubs, trendsetters, music, and cultural events — Our goal is to not just review, but to find a way to bring a little taste of the Big Apple home … wherever that may be. So at the bottom of each feature, we aim to bring an aspect of the city that you can take with you wherever you go. We want to help you knock off the latest trends straight from runway and on the infamously stylish city streets; to bring the tastes of the city’s gastronomical plethora of chefs, restaurants, and mixologists to your own kitchen; to deliver the favorite beats of NYC’s hottest DJ’s to your Ipod playlist; to help you break a sweat with workout and diet trends by some of the world’s top trainers; to feature favorite ‘picks’ of some of the hottest local trendsetters and artists, and more. We want to help bring the magic that makes this city so irresistible to 8 million people every day, to wherever you are.
